Mad River Brewing Company will be hosting a group of Porsche enthusiasts for a lunch, brewery tour and tasting.
Fine hand crafted ales and fine German engineering will come together on Saturday July 12th here in Blue Lake. Some thirty members from the Cascade Region of the Porsche Club of America will arrive at the brewery driving nineteen Porsche models ranging from classic to current. Several local members of the Porsche Club of America will join the group for a lunch buffet followed by a guided tour of this nationally known microbrewery. The cars are expected to arrive at the brewery at 12:30 pm. The event will last about two hours and local press is invited to attend.
Following the tour the group will drive their cars to Willow Creek, returning to the Arcata area for a catered dinner and beer tasting. This pairing of fine cars and fine ales was put together by Dave Haman director of the Cascade Region of the PCA and Brian Baku marketing Coordinator for Mad River Brewing Company.
