Double
Dread Imperial
Red
is now
on tap!
Named after and brewed by our soldiers of late night brewing and cellaring, Jon Cox and David Barrett. Barrettor-Coxinator is a traditional dopplebock style lager. This brew pours a deep ruddy reddish brown with a tan head. Decadently rich and malty, with deep aromas and flavors of chocolate raisins and bread pudding. Sweet, warming finish with light hop spiciness. This is a smooth sipping lager for the early days of spring enjoyment.
Malts: 2-row pale malt, Munich 10, Carastan 30/37, and Chocolate malt Bittering hops: Magnum, Flavor Hops: Hallertau, Finishing Hops: ettnanger

Double Dread Imperial Red Ale

On Tap!
The Double Dread Imperial Red pours a true ruby red of unexpected clarity with zesty citrus aromatics and a resinous flavor explosion. Exhibiting our devotion to a firm malt foundation, Two-row Pale malt provides the base with Aromatic and Wheat Malt for head retention and body. CaraMunich, Carastan and Crystal malts are utilized for color, complexity and flavor. We took liberties with an abundance of hop additions; Columbus for bittering, Chinook and Cascades provide the flavor with Amarillo used during dry hopping for aroma. For those who choose to indulge their passions be forewarned that this Imperial Red weighs in at 8.6% ABV and 95.1 IBU’s.
